Following the success of last year’s visit to ‘Glaramara’ you are warmly invited to join us for a few days of Scottish Country dancing and walking in the Lake District National Park in October 2012. Walking here is just the best available in England with mountains, fells, lakes, dales and woodland on the doorstep!
The holiday is centred on ‘Glaramara’, a superb guest house and former CHA walking centre in Borrowdale. The emphasis is on friendliness, comfort and excellent cuisine. There are many single as well as twin rooms available, all equipped with handbasin and hospitality tray. There are ample shower, bath and toilet facilities. The break is on a full board basis which includes breakfast, packed lunch and 3-course evening meal. There will be a varied programme of led walks each day and of course dancing each evening after dinner. Crib sheets and walk details will be sent at least 4 weeks in advance.
Single and twin rooms are available, all equipped with handbasin and hospitality tray. There are ample shower, bath and toilet facilities. Full board includes a packed lunch and afternoon tea (not to be missed!). Led walks will be available or you may ‘do your own thing’. There will of course be dancing in the evenings (recaps will be given and crib sheets will be available during the Summer).
